Stephania read law at the University of Malta, graduating in 2004 and was called to the Bar in 2005. Her practice areas are EU and Competition Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Commercial Law with a particular focus on International Trade Law. She has advised and represented companies both locally as well as abroad (including the Middle East and China), on international sales contracts and foreign agency and distributorship law.
Stephania possesses an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by firms involved in international trade, not only from a legal but also from a business perspective. She has also advised on cross-border mergers in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. Stephania represents firms before the Office of Fair Trading and advises on various aspects of Competition Law, particularly involving mergers and acquisitions.
